Hastening the Work

The iPad has arrived.

I'm not exactly sure yet all that we'll be able to do with them, but I know a few things. We can teach people from around the world that are interested in the gospel via Facebook, Facetime, and Skype. We can use the tools on the iPad in the Gospel Library to share messages and scriptures with others more easily. There is a lot to learn, but a lot of potential.

SO, if you are not a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and would like to, or be open to, learning more than you can email me at matthew.horne@myldsmail.net! If Facebook, Facetime, or Skype would suit you, we can definitely work that out.

Now, here's an awesome experience with the iPad. The day we got them (Tuesday) I was on exchange, and we didn't get back until really late. We were asked by a member to visit her friend in the hospital who had recently been in a very tragic accident, and give her a blessing. We arrived, and gave the woman a blessing, and started talking to the only other person who was there. Her cousin from New York. She was clearly going through a hard time as well, and we asked if we could show her a video. We pulled out the iPad and showed her the Mormon Message 'Mountains to Climb' which is an incredibly powerful video. We had a tremendous experience to teach her about the Holy Ghost, and the Savior, and it was very powerful. Miracles happen with the iPads.

The Lord is hastening His work. I know it, I'm experiencing it.
